   Joseph Drugan Margaret Milton
“I am delighted to join hub South West Scotland to build on the existing great platform of social value delivery with my college Margaret Milton. As we look to our future pipeline of projects, hub South West is aligning to our participants, anchor partners and Scottish Government’s key priorities to ensure that we play our part in delivering sustainable economic growth and social value across the communities of South West Scotland.”

“I firmly consider that by all stakeholders operating as one on a programme approach rather on a project-by-project basis with clear linked objectives and supporting existing skills initiatives of partner institutions we can make an impact here on the local skills landscape and regional economy.”

Monday: Employed Joseph Drugan as our Community Wealth Building manager who alongside Margaret Milton are a dedicated team delivering CWB and social value from public sector projects.
Tuesday: Co-chaired the Built Environment forum at the DYW Ayrshire skills conference with Gillian Longmuir. Then as part of the hub South West Scotland Design Engineer Construct STEM programme for South Ayrshire Council I did a presentation at Marr College.
Wednesday: Attended the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce B2B event followed by the Supplier Development Programme Scotland event and encouraged SMEs to register for our next Build Ayrshire programme.
Thursday: Met with Angela Cox of Ayrshire College to discuss skills in the Built Environment.
Friday: Further DEC programme at Marr College and getting ready now to hand out the Community Champion Award at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards that we are sponsoring.
Alongside this the rest of the team were delivering Build Dumfries and Galloway and meeting employers in Lanarkshire.
...we were also managing over £400 million of projects in development and construction via our dedicated development and construction teams.
